It is hard to function as a Chicago police officer. It is surrounded by struggling with high killing rates and controversial police shootings. Rahm Emanual Chicago Mayor has appointed a long time trustworthy police officer as interim police superintendent – Eddie Johnson. He was appointed on last Monday. Johnson started his police career as a beat cop. He has worked and now established to the position chief of patrol. He has been working since 1988 with Chicago Police Department.

Chicago Mayor added that he has full confidence in him and believes he is the correct person. He also told that he has been appointed at right time for the position interim superintendent. Chicago Mayor told that Johnson has the capability, command, and character to take the department even in critical situation. He told that he would lead the team from front.

He ensured that he would work the team to get the officers back in position. He added that he had excellent talent to construct bridges. He has full confidence and trust on the newly elected superintendent. He told that he would restore Chicago Police Department in right form. He added that he felt proud of all women and men serving in the police department.

Emmanuel stressed that he was a well-respected person not only in the department but also in his entire surroundings. He is expected to make the ground running back to excellent position.

Alderman Roderick Sawyer told that he knew Johnson for several years. They have talked numerous times regarding policing. Sawyer told that the file and rank were ecstatic. He told that Johnson is a talented and hard-nosed policeman.  He hates to the tolerate misconduct. He is an excellent commander and he hates nonsense. He told that he found him perfect for the role. Pfleger told that Johnson is not a flashy person. He listen and takes action like a quiet storm.

Philippe Breyer and Catherine were Dutch couples residing in Las Vegas. They were checking to fly home at Brussels Airport. They did not expect explosion to occur. They say the explosion exactly at the Delta check-in table. They ran other side to escape. They were not able to run far since the second explosion occurred in next five to ten seconds. They experienced the complete blast on their legs. Phillipe Breyer was totally freezing and he did not know what to do.

Catherine came to know quickly that Phillipe was getting in bad shape. She saw his left leg totally damaged. She realized that it was impossible to save. It was shredded off. A Belgian soldier appeared in front of them for assistance. Before his appearance, they thought that there might be another blast. Luckily, they escaped with two blasts. Phillipe told the reporters that Catherine asked the soldier to tie his leg. The soldier came near to Phillipe, placed his gun down and tied the legs of Phillipe.

The couple is getting treating in the hospital located in Vilvoorde, Belgium. Catherine feels thankful for the soldier who came forward to assist the couple. Phillipe has lost his left leg. It should be a worst accident they would have experienced in their lifetime. The best part is they are alive and Philippe’s life is saved.

Breyers family resides in Las Vegas in Anthem Country Club. They also have a house in Belgium. It would take some time to recover. However, they have to feel happy for their existence. Their life has been saved with an injury. In this airport attack, almost thirty-five people have died in the airport. Catherine told the press that when they were admitted to the hospital, they spoke that their life is saved and they are alive.

Majority of people who died during Brussels terror attack have been identified. Almost three bomb attacks took place at two places – Maelbeek metro station and Brussels airport. Several people were injured during the attack. The casualties belong to different countries like Spain, Romania, Portugal, Hungary, Britain, Germany, France, Peru, Columbia, Belgium and the United States. Due to the explosions, the police could not identify the dead people in the attacks. The officials told that they have identified twenty-eight people till now. They could not find the names of last four people who died at the attack.  To identify, Facebook page and a website have been set up.

Lula Anne Gillespie Miller is an Indiana woman. She has been disappeared since 1974. Recently, it was found that she was living in South Texas region. The police officials have found her last Thursday. She does not want to unite back with her family. Though she has not been there for 42 years with her family, she declines to join with her family. Tammy Miller told that she was angry. She added that it was not going to be a happy reunion or happy ending just like TV movies.

The police officials of Indiana State told that Lula Anne Gillespie Miller was missing in 1974. She was 28-years-old when she went missing. She was the mother of three children. She found that it was too young for her to manage three children and gave a signed custody to her parents. She went missing after giving the custody in 1974. She has left her home and traveled alone. In the year 2014, Detective Scott Jarvis took the case.

The police officials told that he was contactedby an organization named Doe Network. The organization would help in closing cold cases. While investigating the case, they came to know that Lula Anne Gillespie Miller is alive with a different name. She was found to be residing in Texas.  Tammy Miller was shocked to hear the news. The police told that they could not reveal the reason for Lula Anne Gillespie Miller to leave her family and move. They were not available for explanation.

The authorities confirmed that she has not made any crime. Though she is found she is not willing to join with her family. Tammy Miller told she will not call her back and she feels totally rejected because of her action. She said that she is hurt emotionally and it is the choice taken by her.
